The following is beautiful sermon on Beatitudes by Bishop Robert Barron.
We are all sinners, whether you admit yourself to be one or not, and as sinners, we are attached to things. Be it success, fame, material possessions, etc. In this sermon, we are once again convinced that our only true calling as Christians is to be a saint—who is always looking for righteousness, meaning our life is always tuned to the will of God in any situation.
The basic question for us every single day is then becomes “What do I want?“.
This is the question we need to consciously ask in every decision we make every single day in our lives, and to choose the path of righteousness instead of our own worldly thoughts. So the perspective is now about God’s will in our lives.
You life is not about you. It’s crystal clear for us Christians.
Pace e Bene. 🙂
