The following video speaks beautifully of a loving Dad.
Seeing God through the perspective of a loving Dad, us being a blind child, is really empowering. The close relationship—Dad and his child—gives context to the whole story, a story of true love.
Why a blind child? Not so much to the extent of being physically blind, but to the extent that as a child, at times, we may not see the whole of our Dad’s huge love and care and affection. We may not understand him entirely. Sometimes we even think we are abandoned by him. The same with our relationship with God. Many see only the absence of God during difficult times, and a few see Him even more clearly during the same dark moments in their lives.
What about you? Of two options dealing with difficult situations—seeing God as a loving and caring God or seeing yourself as being abandoned by Him—which one would you rather choose to put your trust in?
Does the movie help you see which one is actually true? 🙂
Pace e Bene. 🙂
